Elder Clark, affectionately called, Pastor Shun, was installed as Senior Pastor at Greater New Hope Church of God in Christ in January 2024, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for spiritual growth to the congregation. Before stepping into his current role, Pastor Shun served faithfully as a leader in the Youth Department at Greater Community Temple COGIC, where his commitment and inspiring leadership left an indelible mark.

From a young age, Pastor Shun was actively involved in his faith journey. Growing up as a child and young adult at Greater Community Temple, he found peace and zeal in his faith and became a beacon of inspiration for his peers. His ability to encourage others to live a life submitted and pleasing to God marked him as a natural leader from an early age.

Beyond his spiritual calling, Pastor Shun is a skilled professional barber and a well-respected businessman in the Greater Memphis community. His commitment to excellence extends beyond the pulpit, as he dedicates himself to both the spiritual and practical needs of the community he serves.

Pastor Shun's ministry is a family effort with his beautiful wife, Lady Anitra Clark, who has faithfully worked alongside him for many years. Their partnership in ministry is a testament to their shared dedication to serving the congregation and community. Together, they have two beautiful children, Darrell II and Anika, further enriching the Clark family's legacy of faith, love, and service.
